BRODIES BOOKS
Brodie’s Books is a rare bookshop and coffee shop based in Edinburgh.
I have been making a brand identity that captures the essence of their unique blend of collectable books and artisan coffee. The goal was to create a standout brand system that would resonate with both local and global customers while attracting foot traffic from the iconic Royal Mile.
The project involved a strategic process, including marketing research, target group analysis, mindmapping,
sketching and moodboarding to ensure the brand’s essence was captured. I developed a branding that combines both their heritage and coffee passion, using warm earthy tones to evoke a vintage, yet inviting, atmosphere.
The bold typography evoke a vintage feeling with a modern look, aligning with the target audience of book lovers and coffee enthusiasts.
In addition to the primary branding elements, I designed a range of branded merchandise, including vehicle design, coffee packaging, take-away cups, T-shirts, coasters, and shopping bags, to ensure a cohesive and memorable brand experience.
