GRAPHIC DESIGN HISTORY

For the Noroff Graphic Design Department’s pop-up exhibition in Bergen, I designed a creatively folded leaflet showcasing four influential graphic design styles from 1950 to 1980:
Swiss Style, Pop Art, Psychedelic Poster, and New Wave/Punk.
The goal was to create a visually engaging design and timeline, while educating visitors on the evolution of design through these periods.

The project began with a strategic process of research, exploring the historical and cultural context of each style. I then created four unique graphic elements that visually represented each era, incorporating color schemes and typography inspired by the time periods.
The final result was a dynamic, eye-catching leaflet that serves both as an educational tool and a take-home souvenir.
